Baruk, Mentat of the Khanate
For just under a century, Baruk has acted as the faithful mentat, advisor, and friend to the Great Khan. While credit for the Khanate’s rise to power can hardly be attributed to any but the Great Khan himself, there is no doubt that Baruk has played an integral part of each key maneuver and decision of the last century.
Baruk also played an important figure in the education of both Khupa and Dahkin Khan, teaching them the intricacies of greater military strategy for which the Khanate is so renowned. After their father’s passing he pledged himself wholly to their joint rule.
